We live in the "heart" of the Black Hills of South Dakota. Outside our windows bald eagles
soar, peregrine falcons swoop (at 200 to 300 miles per hour!), wild turkeys gobble, mountain
lions prowl, stately white
tailed deer observe (from a distance) our "comings & goings",
and the coyote serenade us.
We have learned from our Native American forefathers that "human beings" must (not can) co-exist with our forest friends, while protecting and respecting Mother Earth. None of these lessons were learned from modern times.
Dakota Trading Post has been born from our belief that if one surrounds himself with and learns from Mother Earth and Nature, that fair dealings and good friends will result.
